Set to return for its 21st season, the bi-annual fashion collective Tbilisi Fashion Platform (TFP) will take place at Fabrika Tbilisi on February 9, 2024.

The initiative continues its mission of supporting emerging talent from Georgia’s growing fashion scene, building on the momentum of previous editions and introducing a new mix of designers alongside returning names.

Presented in collaboration with a group of local cultural and creative partners, the event has become an important meeting point for independent designers, buyers, media, and industry professionals seeking fresh perspectives from the region.

“We understand how crucial it is to support emerging creative voices in Georgia’s fashion industry,” said a representative of the organizing committee. “In a rapidly changing global environment, platforms like this are essential for giving independent designers visibility and access to a wider audience.”

They added that many talented individuals often lack the infrastructure and exposure needed to grow internationally, making initiatives like TFP a key stepping stone for long-term development. The platform is designed to ensure that young brands can present their identity in a focused and professional environment.

This season’s lineup will feature eight designers, including a combination of menswear, womenswear, and genderless labels. Among them are emerging Georgian brands such as Studio NINI, LIRA, Taso Design, Meskhi Atelier, and collective projects like SAKARTVELLO Studio. Returning participants include established young labels that have previously shown strong growth following their debut presentations at the platform.

Each designer will present their work in dedicated studio-style spaces, allowing them to fully express their brand identity. Rather than a traditional runway format, the presentation is structured as an immersive showroom experience, encouraging closer interaction between designers and visitors.

The event is divided into two sessions throughout the day, with four designers showcasing in the morning and four in the afternoon. This format is designed to create a more intimate environment, allowing attendees to engage directly with collections, materials, and creative concepts at a comfortable pace.

The production of the event is managed by Tbilisi-based creative agency M Collective, known for its work in fashion communications and cultural programming. The agency has been instrumental in shaping the platform’s identity and ensuring a consistent focus on emerging talent.

“We are excited to see TFP return this February,” said a representative from the production team. “The more intimate setup allows for meaningful connections between designers and the fashion community, which is exactly what emerging brands need at this stage.”

They emphasized that the goal remains unchanged: to provide a supportive infrastructure where new designers can experiment, refine their vision, and present their work in front of an engaged audience of professionals and press.

Over the years, the platform has played a significant role in highlighting Georgia’s evolving fashion landscape. Many designers who first presented at TFP have gone on to develop independent labels, participate in international showcases, and collaborate with global retailers.

The return of the 21st season reinforces the importance of localized fashion ecosystems in a global industry. By focusing on accessibility, mentorship, and visibility, TFP continues to position itself as a key driver of creative growth in the region.

As anticipation builds for the upcoming edition, the platform remains committed to its founding principle: creating space for emerging voices to be seen, heard, and supported within the wider fashion community.
