Georgian contemporary label NINUSHI is launching a limited capsule collection in collaboration with KERA, a Tbilisi-based skate and streetwear collective known for its raw aesthetic and youth-driven creative energy.
According to NINUSHI, the collaboration is rooted in a shared “irreverent and expressive spirit” between the two brands, built on a mutual interest in subculture, visual storytelling, and playful reinterpretation of established fashion codes. The project aims to merge craftsmanship with street-level authenticity.
Set to launch on September 6, the capsule includes apparel, accessories, and skate-inspired objects. The collection spans graphic T-shirts, reworked denim silhouettes, and structured pieces that blend tailoring with street functionality. Each item reflects a dialogue between NINUSHI’s refined construction and KERA’s urban visual language.
Among the key pieces are oversized graphic tees featuring distorted illustrations and symbolic motifs drawn from Tbilisi street culture. The denim selection introduces experimental cuts, patchwork detailing, and raw finishes, emphasizing a worn-in, lived-in aesthetic.
A standout item in the collection is a structured corset-style top reinterpreted through a streetwear lens, featuring graphic prints inspired by hand-drawn sketches from KERA’s creative community. The capsule also revisits one of NINUSHI’s earlier seasonal prints, reworked onto lightweight technical outerwear and coordinated skirt sets.
The collaboration marks a significant moment for KERA, as it introduces its first officially structured womenswear direction, expanding beyond its core skate-focused identity into a more defined fashion space.
NINUSHI’s creative director commented on the partnership: “From the beginning, we were drawn to KERA’s energy. They approach design with honesty and freedom, which aligns with how we think about fashion — as something that should feel both personal and culturally connected.”
They added that the collaboration was designed as an open and experimental process, allowing both teams to reinterpret their visual languages without strict boundaries. “It was a playful exchange of ideas, where structure met spontaneity,” the designer noted.
On the KERA side, the co-founder explained that the collaboration represents a natural extension of their creative world. “We’ve always admired NINUSHI’s approach to detail and construction. Working together felt like a way to bring our street perspective into a more refined context while staying true to our identity.”
The campaign for the collection was shot in Tbilisi, reflecting shared spaces that are meaningful to both communities. Urban backdrops, skate spots, and architectural contrasts form the visual foundation of the imagery, reinforcing the connection between fashion and environment.
The capsule will be available starting September 6 through both brands’ flagship locations in Georgia and selected international stockists, as well as online platforms. A staged global release is planned for additional markets shortly after the initial launch.
With this collaboration, NINUSHI and KERA highlight the growing intersection between high-concept fashion and street culture in Georgia. The project reflects a broader movement within the region’s creative scene, where independent labels are increasingly engaging in cross-disciplinary partnerships.
The result is a collection that balances structure and spontaneity, refinement and rawness — capturing the evolving dialogue between two distinct but overlapping creative worlds.
