Georgia continues to gain international recognition as a travel destination. The Georgian National Tourism Administration has announced that the country has been nominated for Best Emerging Travel Destination 2026 at the Global Travel Awards.
Organised by a London-based travel platform, the awards highlight leading destinations and industry players across multiple categories each year. Winners are selected through an open public vote.
Voting for the category is currently underway and will remain open until March 20. Supporters can vote for Georgia directly through the official awards platform.
The ceremony will take place on March 25 in London, where winners across all categories will be announced.
The nomination reflects Georgia’s growing global visibility, driven by rising interest in its cultural heritage, cuisine, diverse landscapes, and evolving hospitality scene.
